  • Under 1mA parking mode — 12+ months with the B-130A battery
  • 64GB card + hardwire kit included, supports up to 1TB

Best for: luxury, high-spec and touring vehicles that justify plate-grade evidence in both directions.

High-endurance memory card — built for non-stop recording
Help me choose the right setup
Memory card — what size? We recommend 256GB for 4K or dual-channel cameras: they record large files, and 256GB holds roughly a full day of footage before it loops — so you’re far less likely to lose an incident before you save it. 128GB is plenty for single-channel or 2K cameras.
Always fit a fresh, high-endurance card. Dash cams record in a non-stop loop, which wears out standard or old phone cards quickly and causes dropouts, “please format” errors or corrupted clips — exactly when you need the footage. A new card rated for continuous recording is the reliable choice.
Parking protection — especially EVs & Teslas. Parking mode runs around the clock. A battery pack powers it from its own cells, so it never draws on your car’s 12V system — 24/7 protection with no flat-battery risk, which matters most on EVs where you can’t safely deep-cycle the main battery.
Cloud connectivity. Add the BlackVue CM100GLTE 4G module for remote live view, impact alerts and GPS tracking from anywhere. You supply a data SIM — around $5–10/month is generally plenty.
Easy self-install. A BlackVue OBD-II power cable plugs straight into your car’s OBD port — no fuse-box wiring — and keeps the camera powered for parking mode.

Overview

The BlackVue Elite 10 2CH is the pinnacle of the range — the only BlackVue with true 4K Ultra HD front AND rear, on dual 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 (IMX678) sensors with front HDR, 12-bit colour and H.265 recording at up to 60Mbps.

Who it's for

Built for drivers who demand absolute clarity in both directions: luxury and high-specification vehicles, 4WD tourers carrying expensive gear, and anyone who wants plate-grade evidence front and rear with the full BlackVue Cloud ecosystem behind it.

  • Dual 4K flagship
  • Luxury & high-spec vehicles
  • 4WD & touring
  • Maximum evidence quality

Happy with 2K behind? The Elite 9 2CH keeps the 4K front for less. Front-only? The Elite 10 1CH is the flagship camera on its own.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • True 4K Ultra HD front AND rear — unique in the BlackVue range
  • Dual 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 (IMX678) sensors with 146° front coverage
  • Front HDR, 12-bit colour and H.265 at up to 60Mbps
  • Power Saving parking under 1mA — over 12 months with the B-130A battery
  • Dual-band Wi-Fi 5, dual-band GPS and full BlackVue Cloud support
  • 64GB card and hardwire kit included; supports up to 1TB

Worth knowing

  • The most expensive camera in the range — the Elite 9 saves $120 if a 2K rear will do
  • Dual 4K fills memory cards quickly — budget for 256GB or more
  • Cloud needs the optional CM100GLTE module (BYO SIM) or a hotspot
  • No built-in screen — footage lives in the BlackVue app

A closer look

What it captures

A hit-and-run from behind at night: the rear 4K camera resolves the plate at a distance where 1080p rears record a smudge. Towing on the highway, both ends are covered in the same flagship detail — merge disputes, tailgaters and rock-flick claims all settled from one system.

Dual 4K — no compromises, either direction

Both cameras run the 8MP Sony STARVIS 2 (IMX678) at 4K Ultra HD 30fps. Most 'premium' duals quietly fit a lesser rear camera; the Elite 10 doesn't — rear plates are as readable as front ones, which matters because most disputed claims come from behind.

Flagship image pipeline

Front HDR balances harsh light, 12-bit colour depth captures over 68 billion colours, and H.265 at up to 60Mbps preserves the detail 4K exists for — footage that survives zooming and cropping when an insurer or court needs it.

Real parking protection, three ways

Three parking modes cover every situation: Motion Detection records full one-minute buffered clips whenever something moves near the car; Timelapse condenses 30 real-world minutes into every one-minute file for long stays; and Power Saving drops the camera below 1mA — so low it can stand guard for over 12 months when paired with the B-130A Ultra Battery, waking in under a second on impact.

BlackVue Cloud, Wi-Fi 5 and GPS

Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 moves big 4K files to the app quickly. Add the optional CM100GLTE LTE module or a hotspot and BlackVue Cloud delivers remote live view of both cameras, instant impact alerts, clip downloads and GPS tracking from anywhere in the world.

Installation options

Hardwire kit (included — unlocks parking mode): fuse-box install with battery-protecting voltage cut-off, with the rear coax run to the back glass. Worth having done professionally on a flagship system.

OBD-II cable (easy DIY parking mode): the optional BlackVue OBD-II Power Cable — no fuse-box wiring. Not suitable for some EVs.

B-130A Ultra Battery (best for EVs and long stays): over 12 months of Power Saving protection with zero drain on the car battery.

Frequently asked questions

Is dual 4K actually worth it?

If rear evidence matters to you, yes — most claims involve the rear of the car, and the Elite 10's 4K rear resolves plates at distances where the 1080p and 2K rears on other systems can't. It's the difference between identifying a hit-and-run driver and not.

How much storage do I need?

Dual 4K at up to 60Mbps is hungry — the included 64GB covers roughly 3–4 hours of loop recording. We recommend 256GB minimum; it supports up to 1TB for touring.

Will parking mode drain my battery?

No — Power Saving draws under 1mA and wakes in under a second on impact, with a voltage cut-off protecting the car battery. Add the B-130A Ultra Battery and it stands guard for over 12 months without touching the car's power.

Does it work with BlackVue Cloud?

Yes — via the optional CM100GLTE LTE module (BYO SIM) or a Wi-Fi hotspot: remote live view of both cameras, impact alerts, GPS tracking and remote downloads.

What's the Australian warranty?

3 years through BlackVue Australia on genuine local stock — register after purchase — plus your Australian Consumer Law rights.

Do I need an account to use the BlackVue app?

Yes — the current BlackVue app uses a free account, and first-time setup needs an internet connection. After that you can connect to the camera directly over Wi-Fi, and your account includes 1GB of free BlackVue Cloud storage for backed-up clips.

Is my footage private?

Yes. Footage records to the microSD card in the camera and the camera is private by default — sharing features such as Live Broadcast stay off unless you deliberately enable them, and any Cloud features are tied to your own account.
