What it does

Powers parking mode independently: with an Elite Series camera in Power Saving mode (under 1mA draw), a single charge sustains over 12 months of stand-by protection; Motion Detection and Timelapse modes run for approximately 16 hours of active recording.
Removes all risk to your car battery — the dash cam never draws on the vehicle's 12V system while parked, so the car always starts.
Recharges automatically whenever you drive, keeping the system perpetually ready, and the built-in battery management system (BMS) watches health, voltage and charge at all times.
Live monitoring in the BlackVue app: battery voltage, charging status and estimated remaining runtime — without opening the car.

Compatibility & installation

Compatible with all BlackVue dash cam models — Elite Series, DR770X II, DR770X Box Pro and DR590X PLUS — making it the universal parking-power answer across the range, and the cleanest option for EVs and hybrids where OBD or fuse-box parking power isn't ideal. The box includes both charging paths: a 12V accessory-socket cable and a fuse-box hardwire (ACC) cable with fuse taps, plus the dash cam output cable. Compact enough to hide under a seat.

How long will it power my dash cam while parked?

Paired with an Elite Series camera in Power Saving parking mode, over 12 months of stand-by protection on a charge — the camera sips under 1mA and wakes on impact. In Motion Detection or Timelapse modes, expect around 16 hours of active recording.

Will my car battery ever go flat because of the dash cam?

No — that's the point of the B-130A. The dash cam draws exclusively from the battery pack while parked, so the vehicle's own battery is never touched.

How does it recharge?

Automatically, every time you drive — via the included 12V socket cable or the fuse-box hardwire cable, whichever suits your install. Normal commuting keeps it topped up.

Can I check the battery from my phone?

Yes — the BlackVue app shows live voltage, charging status and estimated remaining runtime alongside your camera.
