Cellink battery FAQs
Will a Cellink battery work with my dash cam?
Yes. Cellink packs power any 12V dash cam, including BlackVue, FineVu, Thinkware and VIOFO. They're the go-to universal battery when your camera doesn't have its own.
Why use a battery instead of hardwiring to the car?
A battery pack isolates your dash cam from the car's electrical system, so there's no risk of a flat battery in the morning, and you get far longer parking-mode runtime than a hardwire kit's voltage cut-off allows. It charges automatically while you drive.
Do I need one for an EV or Tesla?
It's strongly recommended. EVs and hybrids run accessories from a small 12V battery that isn't built for constant draw, and many shut it down when parked. A Cellink pack powers parking mode completely independently, so your dash cam never touches the car's batteries.
How is it installed?
Cellink packs can be hardwired to your fusebox or run from a 12V socket. For a tidy, concealed setup we recommend professional installation.
What warranty do they come with?
Every Cellink battery comes with a 24-month Australian warranty, plus your full rights under Australian Consumer Law.
