Cellink NEO 6 Slim Battery Pack
The Cellink NEO 6 Slim is the value way into a proper dash cam battery pack — the same LiFePO4 technology and the same zero-drain protection as the flagship NEO 8+S, in a 6,000 mAh pack that costs $90 less. If you want overnight parking cover without paying for maximum runtime, this is the one.
- Overnight parking cover
- Zero car-battery drain
- Works with any 12V dash cam
- Recharges in about 60 minutes
- $90 less than the NEO 8+S
What it does
- Runs your dash cam while the car is parked, drawing nothing at all from the vehicle's battery. With 6,000 mAh (76.8 Wh) of LiFePO4 cells it comfortably covers an overnight park or a full working day for most cameras — typically around 20 hours single-channel and 14 hours dual-channel, though a low-draw camera will stretch further.
- Eliminates the flat-battery risk that puts people off hardwired parking mode. Because the camera is isolated from the car's 12V system, there is no scenario where a long weekend away leaves you with a car that will not start.
- Recharges in roughly 60 minutes hardwired, or about 80 minutes through a 12V accessory socket — identical to the NEO 8+S, so you are not trading away charge speed to save money.
- Uses the same LiFePO4 chemistry as the bigger pack, rated to -10°C to 60°C. You are buying less capacity, not lower quality.
NEO 6 Slim or NEO 8+S?
Choose the NEO 6 Slim if you park overnight at home or at work and want reliable protection at the lowest sensible price. Step up to the NEO 8+S if you regularly leave the car for more than a day, run a power-hungry 4K dual-channel camera, or park at airports. Despite the name, the two packs share the same physical dimensions — "Slim" describes the low-profile form factor of the range, not a smaller case than the 8+S. The difference is capacity and runtime, not size.
Compatibility & installation
Compatible with all 12V dash cams — BlackVue, FineVu, Thinkware, VIOFO and others — so it pairs with whatever camera you already own or are buying alongside it. It supports both a fuse-box hardwire connection (fastest charge, tidiest result) and a 12V accessory socket. At 151 x 132.3 x 32.6 mm and 1 kg it tucks under a seat. We recommend professional installation for a concealed fit — see our installation guide.

Is the NEO 6 Slim actually smaller than the NEO 8+S?
No — both packs share the same 151 x 132.3 x 32.6 mm case and 1 kg weight. "Slim" refers to the low-profile design of the Cellink NEO range as a whole. The real difference between the two is capacity and runtime, not physical size.
How long will it power my dash cam overnight?
Comfortably. Expect around 20 hours on a single-channel camera and around 14 hours on a dual-channel setup, so a standard overnight park is well within range. Exact runtime depends on how much power your camera draws in parking mode.
Will it drain my car battery?
No. Once parked, your dash cam runs entirely from the NEO 6 Slim. The car's own battery is never touched, so it always starts. The pack only recharges while you are driving.
Does it work with my dash cam?
It powers any 12V dash cam — BlackVue, Thinkware, FineVu, VIOFO and others. If you are unsure about your model, contact us before you order and we will confirm compatibility.
Should I just buy the NEO 8+S instead?
Only if you need the extra runtime. The 8+S adds roughly 25 percent more capacity for $90. If you park overnight and drive most days, the NEO 6 Slim is the sensible buy; if you leave the car for days at a time, spend the extra.
