Covered front and back
A front camera only tells half the story. The A229 Plus records 2K front and 2K rear, so a rear-end hit, a merging dispute or a tailgater is captured with the same clarity as what's ahead — exactly the protection most drivers actually need.
Clear in any light
Dual Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensors with HDR pull in more light and handle high-contrast scenes — think tunnel exits and oncoming headlights — so your footage stays usable day and night.
Installation options
Car charger (included, plug-and-play): plug into the 12V socket and tuck the cable around the windscreen trim, and you are recording in minutes. Recording stops when the socket switches off with the ignition, so parking mode needs a hardwire kit or a battery pack.
VIOFO HK4 hardwire kit (optional, unlocks parking mode): fuse-box power with a low-voltage cut-off that protects your car battery. The rear cable runs along the headliner to the back window.
VIOFO BP100 battery pack (optional, zero car-battery drain): charges while you drive and powers parking mode from its own cells, so the car battery is never touched. A good fit for EVs and cars left parked for long stretches.

Is 2K front and rear enough?
For most drivers, yes — 2K is well above 1080p and reads plates clearly. If you want a 4K front camera, look at the A229 Pro (4K front + 2K rear) or A229 Ultra (4K both).
Why do I want a rear camera?
Rear-end collisions are one of the most common crashes. A rear camera records the impact and the other car's plate, protecting you where a front-only camera can't.
Can I add an interior camera?
