Installation

Is everything I need included?
Yes — the U1000 Plus kit ships with its hardwire cable and a 64GB card (supports up to 512GB), and the iVolt Mini includes its charging hardware. Nothing else is required.
Will the Mini last the whole night?
Yes — around 16 hours of active 2-channel parking mode per charge covers an overnight stint comfortably, and about 45 minutes of driving refills it. For multi-day parking, step up to the iVolt Max version.
Does the cloud need a subscription?
Thinkware Cloud works via a Wi-Fi hotspot in the vehicle (your phone or a portable modem). Live view, geo-fencing, impact alerts and vehicle location are included — no mandatory subscription.
Will it drain my car battery?
No. While parked the camera runs entirely off the iVolt Mini; the battery only draws from the car while the engine is running, to recharge.
What warranty applies?
The U1000 Plus carries a 3-year Australian warranty via TDJ Australia and the iVolt Mini a 12-month warranty — both on genuine Australian stock, plus your Australian Consumer Law rights.
