What it does
- Connects the U3000 Pro to Thinkware Connected over 4G: remote live view, parked impact alerts with video, vehicle location and geo-fencing, last-parked image, vehicle status and driving history.
- Sends an automatic SOS emergency message — location plus a footage link — to your nominated contact after a serious impact.
- Ships with the USIM card and three years of the Connected Basic plan included; a paid subscription applies only after the included three years.
- Simple plug-in install — mounts out of sight near the glovebox with the included cables and tape.
Compatibility & installation
Compatible with the Thinkware U3000 Pro only — it doesn't fit the standard U3000 or other models. Note the module and the optional infrared cabin camera share the same connection, so you can run one or the other, not both. Connected features pause while radar parking mode has the network powered down to save energy.

Do I need to supply a SIM card or pay a subscription?
No — the USIM and three years of the Thinkware Connected Basic plan are included. After the three years, an ongoing subscription applies if you want to keep the connected features.
Which dash cams does it work with?
The U3000 Pro only. The standard U3000 and other Thinkware models connect to Thinkware's apps via a Wi-Fi hotspot instead.
Can I use it together with the infrared cabin camera?
No — they share the same port on the U3000 Pro, so it's one or the other. Rideshare drivers usually choose the cabin camera; remote-monitoring buyers choose the LTE module.
Does it work while the car is parked?
Yes — that's the point: parked impact alerts with video reach your phone anywhere. The one caveat is that the network sleeps during radar parking's deepest energy-saving state.
