Round-the-clock parking protection — up to 25 hours of recording with zero drain on your car battery.

  • Up to 25 hours of parking recording (Elite 8 1CH)
  • Zero car-battery drain — your car always starts
  • Any 12V dash cam — BlackVue, Thinkware, FineVu, VIOFO
  • ~60 minute recharge — tops up automatically as you drive
  • 22,000+ charge cycles — LiFePO4, rated to 60°C

Best for: EV owners, street parkers and anyone leaving a car for a day or more.

The Cellink NEO 8+S is the dash cam battery pack Australian drivers reach for when they want genuine 24/7 parking protection without ever risking a flat car battery. It charges while you drive, then runs your camera entirely on its own once you park — so your car always starts, no matter how long the recording runs.

  • Up to 25h parking recording
  • Zero car-battery drain
  • Works with any 12V dash cam
  • Recharges in about 60 minutes
  • Over 22,000 charge cycles

What it does

  • Powers parking mode independently. With 7,500 mAh (96 Wh) of LiFePO4 cells, the NEO 8+S runs a BlackVue Elite 8 1CH for up to 25 hours of parking recording, or up to 17.5 hours on the 2-channel version. Cameras that draw less power will run longer; power-hungry 4K dual-channel setups will run shorter.
  • Takes your car battery out of the equation entirely. While parked, the camera draws only from the NEO 8+S — never from the vehicle's 12V system. This is the single most common reason Australian drivers add a battery pack: hardwired parking mode on its own can flatten a car battery over a long weekend.
  • Recharges fast, automatically. A full charge takes roughly 60 minutes hardwired, or about 80 minutes through a 12V accessory socket. A normal commute is more than enough to top it up.
  • Built to last in Australian conditions. LiFePO4 chemistry is rated beyond 22,000 charge cycles and operates safely from -10°C to 60°C — it is a far more heat-tolerant and longer-lived chemistry than the lithium-ion packs it replaced.

Who it suits

The NEO 8+S is our default recommendation for EV and hybrid owners, where tapping the 12V system for parking power is awkward or discouraged by the manufacturer. It is equally at home for anyone who parks on the street overnight, leaves a car at the airport, or runs a work vehicle that sits for days between jobs. If you only need a few hours of parking cover and want to spend less, the NEO 6 Slim is the value option; if you need to go longer still, the EXT7+ expansion pack chains onto this one.

Compatibility & installation

The NEO 8+S works with all 12V dash cams — BlackVue, Thinkware, FineVu, VIOFO and others — which makes it the universal answer when your camera has no battery option of its own, or when you are mixing brands. It supports both charging paths: a fuse-box hardwire connection (fastest, and the tidiest result) or a 12V accessory socket. At 151 x 132.3 x 32.6 mm and 1 kg it hides neatly under a seat or in a boot side panel. We recommend professional installation for a concealed, safe fit — see our installation guide or ask us about a fitter near you.

Will a dash cam battery pack drain my car battery?

No — that is precisely the problem it solves. Once you park, the camera draws only from the NEO 8+S. Your car's own battery is untouched, so the vehicle always starts. The pack recharges from the car only while the engine is running.

How long will it run my dash cam in parking mode?

Up to about 25 hours with a single-channel BlackVue Elite 8, or up to 17.5 hours with the 2-channel version. Runtime depends on how much power your specific camera draws, so a low-draw 1CH camera will go longer and a 4K dual-channel setup will go shorter.

Does it work with my brand of dash cam?

Yes — the NEO 8+S powers any 12V dash cam, including BlackVue, Thinkware, FineVu and VIOFO. If you are unsure about your specific model, contact us before ordering and we will confirm it.

Is it safe to leave in a hot car?

LiFePO4 is the safest and most heat-tolerant of the common lithium chemistries, and this pack is rated for operation from -10°C to 60°C. That said, like any battery it should be installed out of direct sunlight — one reason we recommend a professional under-seat fit.

Can I install it myself?

You can, but we recommend a professional installer. The tidiest result comes from a fuse-box hardwire connection with the pack concealed under a seat, and a fitter will make sure the fuse tap and earth are done correctly. Contact us and we can point you to someone local.

Do I need the EXT7+ as well?

Only if you want more runtime. The EXT7+ is an expansion pack that chains onto the NEO 8+S to extend recording time for long airport stays or fleet vehicles that sit for days. It cannot power a camera on its own.

Add the NEO 8+S to your order for true set-and-forget parking protection, or compare the Cellink range, browse dash cams, or ask our team what suits your car.
