The Thinkware MULTIR is a Full HD infrared cabin camera that records the inside of your vehicle in colour by day and clear black-and-white at night — the interior channel for a Thinkware multi-camera system.

What it does
- Records the cabin — driver, passengers and doors — at Full HD 1080p, with a wide 160° view that covers front and rear seats.
- Two built-in 940nm infrared LEDs give clear footage in complete darkness without a distracting visible light.
- Adds the interior channel to a 3, 4 or 5-channel build via the Thinkware Multiplexer.
- Compact 61 × 33 × 27mm body with a short 0.5m lead — mounts discreetly on the windscreen or headlining.
Compatibility & installation
Connects through the Thinkware Multiplexer Module and works with compatible cameras including the U1000 Plus, Q200, F790 and T700. Some cameras need a small model-specific adaptor — ask us and we'll confirm what your setup requires.

What does the cabin camera record?
It records the inside of the vehicle — driver, passengers and the door areas — at Full HD, which is exactly what rideshare drivers, taxis and fleet operators need for passenger incidents and accountability.
Does it work in the dark?
Yes. Two 940nm infrared LEDs light the cabin invisibly, so you get clear black-and-white footage at night without dazzling anyone in the car.
Do I need the multiplexer to use it?
Yes — the MULTIR is an add-on camera for a Thinkware multi-channel system, so it connects through the Thinkware Multiplexer Module rather than directly to the dash cam.
Will it work with my Thinkware camera?
It suits multiplexer-compatible cameras such as the U1000 Plus, Q200, F790 and T700. Some models need a small adaptor cable — contact us with your camera and we'll confirm.
