- Hardwire cable (included) The permanent, fully hidden install with parking mode. We recommend a qualified auto electrician — expect roughly $200–$400 for professional installation.
- Battery pack (optional) A Cellink battery gives the longest parking coverage with zero drain on your car battery. Note: the included hardwire cable still connects the camera to the battery — parking mode won’t activate via the cigarette-lighter cord.

Is the GX4K worth it over a 2K camera?
If you want the sharpest possible front footage and a factory-flush look, yes. For a smaller and cheaper camera with excellent 2K quality, the FineVu GX35-2CH is the better value.
Will it record while my car is parked?
Yes. Fit the included hardwire cable to the fuse box, use the optional FineVu OBD-II cable, or add a Cellink battery pack (connected via the hardwire cable). Parking mode includes a 10-second pre-buffer, smart time-lapse and AI heat monitoring.
How hard is it to install?
Plug the cigarette-lighter cord in yourself in minutes, or use the plug-and-play OBD-II cable for parking mode. For the fully hidden hardwire install we recommend a qualified auto electrician — typically $200–$400.
Can I view footage on my phone?

Does it drain my car battery in parking mode?
The hardwire and OBD-II cables both have a low-voltage cut-off that shuts the camera down before your battery drops too far. A battery pack removes the risk entirely.
