BlackVue ERC1-C Weatherproof External Camera
Overview
The BlackVue ERC1-C is a rugged, weatherproof external camera that adds a second view — rear, side or cargo — to your BlackVue system, built to survive the elements on trucks, vans, trailers and 4WDs.
Who it's for
This is the camera for work and touring vehicles that need eyes outside the cabin: trucks, vans, trailers, caravans and 4WDs. If you need to record a reversing view, a load area, a blind side or a coupling, the ERC1-C is made to live outdoors and keep recording.

A closer look
Built to live outside
Most rear cameras are made for the inside of your windscreen. The ERC1-C is different — it's housed in a sealed IP69K-rated metal body designed to handle rain, dust, mud and washdowns. That makes it the right choice for the back of a truck, the rear door of a van, a trailer, or a 4WD bar where an in-cabin camera simply wouldn't cope.
Sees in the dark
Six built-in infrared LEDs help the ERC1-C capture usable footage in low light — useful for loading docks, reversing at night, or monitoring a cargo area after dark. It records crisp Full HD at 30 frames per second.
Ready for big vehicles
The kit includes a 15-metre waterproof coaxial cable (CC-15T) plus clips and mounting screws, so you have the reach to run from the cabin to the very back of a truck or trailer.
Compatibility
The ERC1-C is designed to pair with BlackVue DR970X and DR770X front cameras, and the DR770X / DR970X Box models (including the DR770X Box Pro). If you're building a multi-camera truck or fleet setup and want to confirm the exact configuration, talk to our team first.
Installation
The ERC1-C mounts externally and runs a waterproof cable back to your BlackVue system. Because it involves sealed external mounting and a long cable run, we strongly recommend professional installation for a weatherproof, tidy result — we can help you arrange it.

It pairs with DR970X and DR770X front cameras and the DR770X/DR970X Box models. Contact us to confirm your exact setup before ordering.
