What it does
Polarised light bouncing off your windscreen and dashboard is what causes that hazy, washed-out look and the “ghost” of your dash reflected in the glass. A circular polarising filter blocks that reflected light, so the camera records the road — not the reflection. The result is clearer footage, deeper blue skies and more readable number plates in bright sun.

No — the BF-1 fits the DR750/770/900/970 (non-PLUS) front cameras. The Elite 8/9/10 series use the newer CPL-2 filter.
