The lead that links your cameras
A 2-channel BlackVue records front and rear, and a single coaxial cable carries the rear camera's video and power back to the front unit. If you're fitting a rear camera, lost the original lead, or it was damaged in a previous install, this is the genuine part to use.
Pick the right length
A 6 m cable suits most sedans and small SUVs. Choose 10 m for longer vehicles — utes with canopies, vans, 4WDs and large wagons — so you can route the lead neatly around door pillars and the headliner without it pulling tight.
Compatibility
This coaxial lead suits 2-channel DR7-series and DR9-series BlackVue dash cams (the standard 3Gbps coaxial connection). Elite Series rear cameras use a newer 6Gbps cable (supplied with the rear camera). The DR590X uses an analogue cable rather than coax. If you're unsure which lead your system needs, send us your model and we'll confirm.
Installation
Disconnect the old lead (if replacing), then route the new coaxial cable from the front camera to the rear, tucking it behind the A-pillar, door seals and headliner. Plug both ends in firmly until they click. No tools needed beyond a trim tool for neat routing.

Is it waterproof for a trailer or truck box?
No. This cable is for in-cabin routing. External runs need BlackVue's waterproof cable. Ask us if that's what you need.
My DR590X uses a different plug — will this fit?
The DR590X uses an analogue cable, not this coax. Contact us with your exact model and we'll supply the correct lead.
