1-Channel vs 2-Channel vs 3-Channel — which setup do you need?

Front-only (1-channel) dash cam questions, answered

Is a front-only dash cam enough?
It covers the most common incidents — what happens ahead of you — and is the simplest, most affordable setup. Add a rear camera (2-channel) if you also want to capture rear-end knocks and the parking bay behind.
Can I add a rear camera later?
On many models, yes — check the product page; several 1-channel cameras are expandable to 2-channel.
Do front-only cameras have parking mode?
Yes, most do. Add a battery pack to run parking mode without draining your car battery.
Which front-only dash cam is best?
For a clean single-camera install, our BlackVue and FineVu 1-channel models are top picks. Message us for advice.
