Check your camera's maximum capacity first
Every dash cam has a maximum card size set by its manufacturer, and a card larger than that limit will not be recognised. If you are unsure, the capacity limit is listed on the camera's product page, or call us on (03) 9338 8772 and we'll check it for you.
What this is, and what it isn't
This is a third-party card, not a camera-manufacturer branded accessory. It carries the card manufacturer's own warranty, not your dash cam manufacturer's. Some brands state that they cannot guarantee the performance of, or provide support for, non-genuine cards. If you would prefer a manufacturer-branded card, our BlackVue genuine cards are listed separately.
Before you use it
Format the card in the camera before first use, and reformat it every couple of months. Dash cams write continuously and overwrite in a loop, so a periodic format keeps the file system clean and reduces the chance of recording errors.
