More and more vehicles ship with USB-C Power Delivery ports built into the dash or console. The USBC-3P lets your BlackVue draw clean, regulated power straight from one of those ports — so you can keep your 12V socket free and avoid a dangling adaptor.
Long lead, neat finish
At 4.5 metres, the cable is long enough to tuck up the A-pillar and along the headliner for a factory-look install, even if the USB-C port is down in the centre console.
Compatibility
Compatible with the BlackVue Elite Series, DR970X (including Plus and LTE), DR770X (including LTE) and the DR590X Series. It is not compatible with the DR970X Box Plus or DR770X Box models. Your car's USB-C port must support Power Delivery (PD 3.0). Not sure? Ask us and we'll check.
Installation
Plug the USB-C end into your car's PD-capable USB-C port and the other end into your dash cam, then route the lead neatly around the windscreen trim. No tools required.

Frequently asked questions
Will any USB-C port work?
It needs to be a Power Delivery (PD 3.0) port. A standard phone-charging USB-C socket may not supply enough power. Check your car's specs or ask us.
Can I run parking mode through this?
It powers the camera while there's power at the port. For continuous unattended parking recording, a hardwire kit or battery pack with low-voltage protection is the proper solution.
Why use USB-C instead of the 12V socket?
Convenience and tidiness — it frees your cigarette socket and suits newer cars where USB-C is the main accessory port.
Does it fit the Box models?
No — the USBC-3P is not compatible with the DR970X Box Plus or DR770X Box. Contact us for the correct cable for those.
