Installation
The B-130A charges while you drive (12V accessory or fuse-box hardwire — both leads included) and the DR970X runs off the battery while parked. Fit your nano SIM before the install and it's one tidy visit — see our installation page.

Frequently asked questions
Is everything I need included?
Everything except the nano SIM — any Australian prepaid data SIM works (from ~$10/month). The camera supports 4G bands B1, B3, B7 and B20.
Does it need a subscription?
BlackVue Cloud's free plan covers the core remote features; your only ongoing cost is your SIM's data plan.
Will it drain my car battery?
No. While parked the camera runs entirely off the B-130A; the battery only charges while you drive.
How long will it really last parked at the airport?
With motion-triggered recording rather than constant recording, most setups see days to weeks of coverage per charge — and you can check the battery's remaining charge from your phone.
What warranty applies?
The DR970X carries a 3-year Australian warranty; the B-130A carries its manufacturer's Australian warranty (see its product page) — both genuine local stock, plus your Australian Consumer Law rights.
