VIOFO has just announced four new products: the T340, the T330, the A149 Pro Duo and the BP60 battery pack. Short version: the T340 is a four-channel system with a built-in infrared cabin camera, the T330 is a modular two or three-channel setup aimed at rideshare and taxi drivers, the A149 Pro Duo is the straightforward 4K front and 1080p rear option, and the BP60 is a smaller, cheaper parking battery than the BP100. Australian pricing and stock dates for the T330 and T340 are now confirmed, and the A149 Pro Duo and BP60 are still to come. Here is what each one actually does, and what we would buy in the meantime.
Update, 17 September 2026: the T330 and T340 are now available to preorder at The Dash Cam Co, with Australian stock expected to arrive mid-October 2026. Australian pricing is confirmed, and you can reserve yours now.

Is any of this available in Australia yet?
Yes. The T330 and T340 are now available to preorder at The Dash Cam Co, with Australian stock expected to arrive mid-October 2026. VIOFO announced the range on 16 September 2026. The A149 Pro Duo and BP60 are not in the Australian range yet.
Preorder now to lock in your place in the first Australian shipment, and we dispatch by free Express Post as soon as stock lands. If you would like the latest ETA, send us a note and we will tell you where the shipment is up to.
One thing worth saying plainly: Australian pricing for the T330 and T340 is now confirmed and shown below. The A149 Pro Duo and BP60 do not have Australian pricing yet, so where we show a figure for those it is clearly marked as an estimate, worked out from the real gap between VIOFO's US prices and our own Australian retail prices on the VIOFO range we already sell. Treat those two ranges as a guide, not a quote.
If you need a camera now: the VIOFO A329S 2CH already does 4K 60fps front and 2K rear, and it is in the range today.
The four new products compared
| Model | Channels | Standout | Best suited to | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| T340 | 3 or 4 | Cabin camera built into the main unit, optional telephoto and waterproof rear | Utes, 4WDs, fleets, anyone who wants every angle from one unit |
A$864 (3CH), A$960 (4CH) preorder, arriving mid-Oct |

A$704 preorder, arriving mid-Oct |
| A149 Pro Duo | 2 | Simple 4K front and 1080p rear, detachable design | Everyday drivers who do not need a cabin view | US$319.99 est. A$405–430 |
| BP60 | Battery pack | 5000mAh LiFePO4, around 20 hours on a single-channel camera | Parking mode without touching the car battery | US$219.99 est. A$340–370 |
All three cameras: Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, HDR, Wi-Fi 6, built-in GPS, voice control and five parking recording modes, per VIOFO. US prices are VIOFO's own store prices in US dollars as at 17 September 2026. The T330 and T340 prices are confirmed; the A149 Pro Duo and BP60 figures are our estimates, not announced prices. We calculated them from the actual gap between VIOFO's US prices and our own Australian retail prices across the VIOFO range we already stock — which currently runs about 1.3 times for cameras and about 1.6 times for battery packs, where freight costs more. VIOFO has not announced Australian pricing, and the real figures may land outside these ranges.
Each model, and who should skip it
VIOFO T340
A cylindrical main unit holding a 4K front camera and a 2K infrared cabin camera with a 210 degree fisheye view and four infrared LEDs, so the interior and both side windows are covered without a second unit on the windscreen. From there you pick your rear: standard, waterproof for a ute tray or trailer, or a 2K telephoto with 4x optical zoom for reading plates further down the road. Five packages run from three to four channels. Skip it if you do not need an interior view, because you are paying for a camera you will never use.
VIOFO T330
Screenless and compact enough to hide behind the mirror, running 4K at 60fps on the front channel. The two-channel version is front and rear; the three-channel adds a separate 210 degree cabin camera you mount where it suits the car, rather than being stuck with wherever the main unit sits. That flexibility is the real reason this one matters for taxi and rideshare drivers. One honest caveat: VIOFO notes that turning HDR on drops the front channel from 4K 60fps to 4K 30fps, so you choose between frame rate and dynamic range. Skip it if you want four channels, which is the T340's job.
VIOFO A149 Pro Duo
4K front with a Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, 1080p rear, HDR on both channels, Wi-Fi 6, GPS and voice control, in a detachable body. No cabin camera and no configuration to think about. VIOFO quotes transfer speeds of up to 30MB/s, which pulls a one-minute 4K clip to your phone in about ten seconds. Skip it if the plate behind you matters as much as the one in front, because 1080p rear is a real step down from the 2K rear on the T330 and T340.
VIOFO BP60
A 64Wh LiFePO4 pack (12.8V, 5000mAh) that charges while you drive and then runs the camera on its own when parked, so the car battery is never touched. VIOFO quotes 45 minutes to charge via hardwire, 65 via the cigarette socket and 85 over USB-C, with roughly 20 hours of parking recording on a single-channel camera, 16 on two channels and 12 on three. It measures 130 x 140 x 35mm and weighs 0.82kg. Skip it if you run a three or four-channel system and want multi-day coverage, because that is what the larger BP100 is for.
Parking mode is where the real change is
The headline feature across all three cameras is Hybrid Parking Mode paired with Low-Power Impact Detection. In plain terms: when you park, the camera keeps recording normally for a set time or until the car battery drops to a voltage you choose, and then it stops recording and simply waits, listening for an impact. If something hits the car, it wakes up and records.
That matters in Australian conditions for two reasons. A car parked at a shopping centre in a Queensland summer is drawing power the whole time in a conventional parking mode, and a camera sitting in a hot car all day is one of the most common causes of the faults we see. Cutting the camera down to impact detection after an hour or two addresses both at once.
The catch is that parking mode is not free. On the T330 and T340 it requires the HK6-F hardwire kit, and on the A149 Pro Duo it requires the HK6-A. Neither is included. If you would rather not wire into the fuse box at all, a battery pack like the BP60 or BP100 does the same job without ever drawing on the car battery, which is the setup we recommend for EVs. Our guide to dash cam power options walks through the trade-offs, and the EV parking mode guide covers why this matters more in an electric car.
Preorder the T-Series, or buy proven today
You can now preorder the T330 or T340, with Australian stock expected mid-October 2026. If you would rather have a camera in your hands this week, the models below are proven, in stock and dispatched same day. A brand new platform also takes a few months for firmware to settle, so buying proven now and adding a T-Series later is a perfectly sensible plan.
VIOFO A329S 2CH: 4K 60fps front and 2K rear. The closest thing we sell to the new T330, and it is here now. $599
VIOFO A229 Pro 2CH: true 4K front, 2K rear, dual STARVIS 2 sensors. The best-value 4K dual we stock. $469
VIOFO A229 Plus 2CH: 2K front and rear if the budget is tighter and 4K is more than you need. $329
VIOFO BP100: the larger 7650mAh parking battery, available now, and expandable. $454
Frequently asked questions
When will the VIOFO T340 and T330 be available in Australia?
The T330 and T340 are available to preorder now, with Australian stock expected to arrive mid-October 2026. We dispatch by free Express Post as soon as it lands. The A149 Pro Duo and BP60 do not have a confirmed Australian date yet.
How much do the T340 and T330 cost in Australia?
Australian pricing is now confirmed. The T340 3CH is $864 and the T340 4CH, which adds the telephoto camera, is $960. The T330 2CH is $704. These are preorder prices, with stock expected mid-October 2026, and every order is backed by our 24-month Australian warranty.
What is the difference between the T330 and the T340?
Channel count and where the cabin camera lives. The T340 supports up to four channels and has the cabin camera built into the main unit. The T330 supports up to three, and its cabin camera is a separate unit you can position to suit the vehicle. The T330 also records 4K at 60fps on the front channel, though enabling HDR drops that to 30fps.
Do I need a hardwire kit for parking mode?
Yes, unless you use a battery pack. The T330 and T340 need the HK6-F hardwire kit and the A149 Pro Duo needs the HK6-A, none of which are included. A BP60 or BP100 battery pack is the alternative, and it is the option we recommend for electric vehicles because it never draws on the 12V battery.
Should I preorder the new range or buy now?
You can preorder the T330 or T340 now and have it dispatched as soon as Australian stock lands, expected mid-October 2026. If you want a camera in your hands this week, a proven in-stock model like the A329S is the safer call. Either way you are covered by our 24-month Australian warranty.
Is the BP60 better than the BP100?
It is smaller and cheaper, not better. The BP60 is 5000mAh and 64Wh for around 20 hours on a single-channel camera; the BP100 is 7650mAh and 98Wh for around 32 hours and can be expanded with extra batteries. If you run three or four channels, the BP100 is the sensible one.
